Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Corporate HR Leader supports the corporate headquarters of DISH. The main function of this position is adding value through broad spectrum HR knowledge and high-level managerial expertise. This position has 4 direct reports and is responsible for the support of approximately 1,700 employees.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:
Lead a team of HR representatives in their support of corporate business partners such as IT, Marketing, and Finance
Responsible for employee relations functions for corporate employees from onboarding throughout the employment cycle
Advises and counsels management team regarding recognition, compensation, development, talent management, compliance, and performance coaching
Leads HR initiatives such as talent and succession planning, performance appraisal calibration, and talent brokering with senior leadership
Maintain a working knowledge of employment law and DISH policies and procedures to be able to communicate with departments on HR and company initiatives

Skills - Experience and Requirements:
A successful Corporate HR Leader will have the following:
Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and one plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Master’s Degree preferred
Experience managing 2+ direct reports
Strong hands on experience working with C-Level and VP level executives in a corporate setting
2+ years of experience overseeing the support of 800+ employees
Ability to influence decision making, specifically relating to employee relations
Desire to identify problems, collect data, and make reasonable recommendations based on fact-finding
