Basic American Foods is a market leader and innovator in dry food products within the foodservice and consumer foods industry. We are seeking a strategic and innovative HR leader to join our team in Walnut Creek, CA as a Corporate Human Resources Manager to provide leadership and direction for the corporate recruiting, HR Business Partner, and HR compliance functions. The Corporate HR Manager works closely with the executive leadership team to ensure that corporate HR programs and policies align with company business strategies, are cost effective and operationally efficient, and drive the achievement of business results.This highly visible leadership position reports directly to the VP, Human Resources and is accountable for: -Developing and executing talent management and talent acquisition strategies that drive business results and align with the organization's strategic direction, culture, and business objectives-Managing the corporate recruiting function, developing effective recruitment and workforce planning processes, creating and leveraging a compelling employment brand, and conducting full cycle recruiting to acquire top performing talent -Overseeing recruitment metric reporting, vendor management, and budget development to effectively manage cost and efficiency-Providing strategic HR business partnership and consultation to corporate leaders on achieving business results through effective people leadership, talent management, employee engagement, organizational structure, workforce planning, succession management, and training/development-Designing, implementing, and communicating corporate HR programs/initiatives that increase employee engagement, promote a positive employee value proposition, and drive a high performance workforce-Establishing and maintaining HR policies and procedures that leverage best practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational efficiency-Leading and developing the corporate HR team to maximize performance and ensure effective program administrationMinimum qualifications require a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years progressive HR experience, including recruiting, HR Business Partner, and corporate HR management for mid-sized organizations (1000+ employees). The position also requires the ability to travel at least 10-25%.Ideal Candidate Qualifications-Professional certification in HR (SPHR preferred)-Broad-based and progressive experience managing corporate human resources, adding value as a strategic HR business partner, and recruiting top talent-Current knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations, industry trends, and best practices-Innovative, resourceful, and solutions-oriented leader with demonstrated strategic planning and decision making skills-Ability to lead change and achieve goals through cross-functional collaboration, influence, and business partnership -Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to present recommendations to senior leadership-High energy and drive to promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement-Demonstrated people leadership and project management skills in a team setting-Self-directed, diligent, and a willingness to be a hands-on, working managerIf you're interested in this opportunity and becoming part of a successful and collaborative team, please apply online at www.baf.com/careers.
