As an HR intern within our Change Management team in our Organizational Development/Organizational Effectiveness division, you’ll learn how team members within this division drive the people strategy of the company building human capital. This department is responsible for making sure the right person is place in the right position at the right time.

As an intern, you’ll work closely with IT and HR Business Partners as you assist the department with competency development for IT families (including surveys, facilitation of workshops, and reporting/documentation of results). You’ll also assist with Human Capital Reporting (combining engagement, exit interviews, succession planning, and performance data into a story for the company and separate divisions to business strategy.

Successful candidates should have a strong interest in Organizational Development/Organizational Effectiveness, Industrial Organizational Psychology, strong communication and analytical skills, presentation and organizational skills, as well as be self-motivated, an innovative thinker and possess the ability to work independently.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

-Bachelors Degree

-Currently enrolled in a MBA program with 1-3 semesters remaining

-Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above

-Strong communication skills

-Experience creating surveys, analyzing survey data, writing competency ratings

-Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the

successful completion of specific project goals and objectives)

-Basic skills using E-mail and Internet Explorer to send, receive and organization communications

-Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels through work experience or coursework

-Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for

services and evaluation of customer satisfaction through work experience or coursework

-Intermediate level skill with in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (using multiple sheets and workbooks, logical Operators ("AND" and "OR"), creating charts, and pivot tables), Word (creating a mail merge, creating labels, adding form fields, hiding text, recording and running macros, adding tables of contents, inserting footnotes and endnotes, working with XML, and linking to Excel worksheets).and PowerPoint (creating and modifying tables, working with graphs and charts, rearranging slides, adding and modifying slide backgrounds, creating a custom design template, adding transitions) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

-Major in Organizational Development/Organizational Effectiveness or Industrial Organizational Psychology preferred

-Experience and/or interest in the Human Resources field

-Experience in database management and database concepts
