Wedbush Securities is one of the largest investment banks and securities firms in the nation. Our growing Marketing Department is looking for a highly creative and entrepreneurial Web Developer to assist with managing our six corporate websites as well as hundreds of upcoming projects.

We are looking for a full-time web developer who preferably has experience with Drupal to work as part of a team to architect, develop, and support the firms multiple websites and a growing number of Corporate Marketing projects. This position requires a team member who can be on site due to the high-level of interaction. Candidates must have a "can-do" attitude and be eager to work on various projects with a cohesive, yet demanding team. Provides excellent opportunities to build responsibilities and grow with one of the nations leading financial institutions. This person will ideally be a highly motivated, creative, organized individual who works well with others.

  • Work as part of a dedicated Corporate Marketing Department to:
    • Develop/architect Drupal-based websites, intranets and applications. Including but not limited to:
      • Installing and configuring Drupal in a Windows environment
      • Installing and configuring Drupal modules
      • Creating Drupal themes, while adhering to web standards where possible and as the project dictates
      • Creating custom Drupal modules
    • Develop, maintain, and expand web site content, build administration tools and site functionality within project specifications
    • Contribute new modules or modifications back to the Drupal project, where appropriate
    • Participate in all phases of web application development projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
    • Meet with project team members and clients to develop an understanding of client requirements
    • Assist with web-server administration and general trouble shooting
Experience and Skills
  • Hands-on web development experience using ASP.NET, PHP, MySQL, HTML/HTML5/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Ability to build web applications and database-driven websites
  • Experience with Website tagging and analytics
  • Experience with or a working knowledge of Drupal 7 preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate)
  • High School Diploma or higher and Certification in web related technologies
  • Experience with Sharepoint and Adobe Flash programming (FLEX, ActionScript) is a plus
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to details, highly organized
  • Good communications and documentation skills
