POSITION TITLE: Corporate Payroll Administrator

DATE: 4/22/13

BASIC FUNCTION: The Corporate Payroll Administrator is responsible for partnering with the Operations to pay our employees efficiently and accurately.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :
? Performs tasks to establish and maintain employee / payroll records

? Checking and auditing timekeeping and attendance records for compliance with established standards

? Calculates wage and overtime payments

? Calculates and records payroll deductions

? Review & audit payroll output such as registers and standard reports, determining and correcting out of balance conditions

? Provide front line system support for the time and attendance system

? Analyze and troubleshoot payroll issues with the plant

? Enters employee information into the payroll system

? Prepares various reports and maintains files as required

? Assists Plant Administrators with various requests

? Manage various projects as assigned

? Performs other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge

? Minimum of high school graduate; bachelor's degree in business, or related area is preferred

? Minimum one year of experience in payroll administration

? Proficiency in the use of computer and business related software, including Microsoft applications (excel, word and Outlook)

? Working knowledge of ADP HR/Payroll and Ceridian HR/Payroll systems preferred

Skills and abilities

? Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking; ability to speak, read and understand Spanish is a plus

? Proficiency in payroll calculations

? Ability to maintain and safeguard confidential and sensitive information

? Ability to successfully communicate with all organizational levels

? Ability to manage conflict

? Ability to communicate clearly via phone and email with plant administrators and co-workers

? Ability to use various office equipment (computer terminal, scanner, etc)

? Ability to work hours mandated by management

? Ability to pass a drug test

FLSA CLASS: Hourly / Non-exempt
