Recruiter (Junior Level)

Location – Falls Church, VA
Compensation - Salaried Position +Benefits

Kore Federal is a rapidly growing IT Services and Solutions company with an immediate opening for a Junior Recruiter with 1-4 years’ experience who is enthusiastic, intelligent, a creative networker and a team player. It is essential that the Candidate have a high degree of organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to be flexible in a changing environment. Preference will be given to candidates with technical recruiting experience.

Responsibilities:
Conduct full-life cycle recruiting
Track the candidate's status from initial contact to actual hire date
Navigate the Internet, using various sources, to review resumes and produce qualified candidates
Build, post and maintain positions to the Kore Federal Careers page and other job boards
Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
Screen and follow appropriate procedures for recruiting personnel as they relate to interagency security clearances and qualification for contractor personnel
Ensure resume database integrity and consistency (Newton)
Assist in maintaining and reporting staffing metrics
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Requirements:
2-4 years of corporate and/or placement agency recruiting experience (technical and/or government contracting recruiting greatly preferred)
Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components
Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in handling a number of projects simultaneously
Ability to demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential information
Proficiency in using databases and Microsoft Office Suite
Basic understanding of employment laws, with solid understanding of legal/illegal pre-employment inquiries
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (Newton preferred)
BA/BS Degree in Human Resources or related field OR equivalent experience
