Will focus mainly on recruitment for Home Offices which entails determining proper recruitment techniques, recruiting, interviewing, testing candidates, conducting employment history verifications and working with hiring manager throughout the process
  • Conduct new hire orientations and respond to inquiries regarding policies and procedures
  • Interact with job applicants, employees, managers, and outside agencies regarding job openings, unemployment hearings, and Human Resource inquiries
  • Will cross-train as back-up for all other departmental duties and assist with company-wide recruitment as needed
  • Regular attendance is required

  • Qualifications
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Computer skills & a minimum typing speed of 45wpm
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, to include Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
    • Possess strong organizational skills
    • Able to multi-task
    • Proven history of project completion
    • Transportation/Trucking experience a plus
    • Must be able to and comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
    • Must be able to interact well with others
    • Ability to work independently or in a team setting, in a fast paced environment
    • Must be mentally and emotionally capable of handling a high stress environment
    • Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs
    • High School Diploma or General Education Experience (GED), or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background; a degree in Business or HR or certificates in HR a plus, 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources department with at least 2-3 years recruiting experience is preferred, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
    • Responds well to questions. Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations/procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States
