The successful candidate will be responsible for full cycle recruitment through sourcing, interviewing, and moving candidates through the hiring process. Build and maintain working relationships with Business Partners and hiring managers to meet the hiring needs and future needs of Interstate Batteries.

Responsibilities:

What this person will do:
  • Work independently with little supervision; headhunts and identifies qualified candidates for current openings and future potential positions using multiple and creative candidate search processes without assistance from third party recruitment agencies.
  • Work as a liaison between candidates, hiring managers and business partners to develop and maintain relationships during the selection, offer of employment, and administrative components of the recruitment.
  • Drives and manages candidate filtering selection process for accurate matching with hiring managers needs which includes phone screens, selection of appropriate interview panel, drive interview debrief, reference checks, etc. to ensure timely interviewing process and a high quality final candidates.
  • Manages and coordinates communications with candidates, and provides complete information to them about the company, benefits and position.
  • Coaches hiring manager in recruitment best practices to hire qualified candidates who match well with the culture and values of the department and organization.
  • Work as a liaison between candidates, hiring managers and business partners to develop and maintain relationships during the selection, offer of employment, and administrative components of the recruitment.
  • Collaborates with other team members to establish employment offer to selected candidates. Ensures that offer is delivered in a timely and quality manner that results in the highest accept/offer ratio.
  • Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities.
  • Works cooperatively with all members of the staff team to develop and implement staffing plans and activities.

Qualifications:

What this position requires:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent recruiting experience
  • Requires minimum 5 years recruiting experience in a corporate or agency environment with strong knowledge of technical skills and terminology.
  • Demonstrated experience using various recruitment resources (internet/social media, networking associations, cold calling, etc.)
  • Knowledge and past use of a server-based applicant tracking system (ICIMS knowledge a plus ).
  • Exceptional customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills in a challenging, fast-paced, results oriented environment.
  • Ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions.
  • Commitment to professionalism and ethics; respect for every candidate and the confidentiality embedded in the business
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment skills.
  • Passion for and experience in creatively identifying and screening quality passive and active candidates.
  • Consistent producer who is results driven
  • Ability to work flexible hours/days as needed appropriate for the job search.
