We are currently looking to add a corporate recruiter position to our growing company. JOB SUMMARY: This position will support the overall recruitment and staffing effort and plays an integral role supporting the recruiting function and contributes to the overall success of the organization by providing a high level of customer service, administrative support, and project coordination throughout the full cycle recruiting process. This position will require an understanding of processes for candidate management, benefits, company policy administration, and other related activities in order to provide the appropriate support to the Staffing function.

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria • Execute staffing initiatives as it relates to company growth • Work closely with hiring managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process • Manage the associate assessment process for pre-employment and development program • Develop a new interview process, assessments, questions, and business cases based on hiring roles for new HR system • Regular follow-up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruiting process • Source, Screen and Interview candidates (internal and external) in order to ensure a strong candidate pipeline, while providing timely and innovative sourcing results and solutions. • Collaborating with hiring managers on recruitment needs • Execution of sourcing strategies to provide high-quality, high-level talent • Recruit multiple categories of associates, including operations, IT, operations management, purchasing, product development, HR, accounting/finance, leadership levels, and others • Work closely with colleges contacts on career fair opportunities and leverage networking for speaking engagements • Partners with the Retail leadership team in support of staffing needs for current and future store locations. • Prepare and manage job postings, assemble recruitment materials, complete reference checks and schedule candidate interview and phone screenings while ensuring proper follow up with hiring manager and candidate to ensure a seamless recruitment/interviewing/on boarding experience. • Coordinate weekly follow up emails with candidates i.e.

declines after phone screens/interviews • Makes final hiring recommendations in partnership with Director of HR and Executive team including preparation of final offer letter • Generate weekly, monthly, and annual recruiting data and reports for executive team. • Responsible for the preparation, creation, management of job postings, recruitment advertisements, and our company website, to be compelling, effective, fresh, and consistent with our brands image. Source out new, inventive ways to find qualified candidates and maintain our competitiveness while meeting open to hire goals. • Research new markets, colleges, associations, to build awareness and establish relationships with business and community resources and leaders; source regional media channels most aligned with our business.

  • Data Mining. Responsible for sourcing passive candidates from online job boards such as CareerBuilder, Monster, Indeed.com and LinkedIn, identifying otherwise inactive candidates for open positions. Responsible for consistent sourcing via Internet (Indeed.com, LinkedIn, etc). Perform basic searches of recruiting database for internal and external candidates.
  • Support the candidate interview process which may include pre-employment testing, background and reference checks, and other administrative aspects of the process. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Management or equivalent degree. • 3+ years retail management recruiting experience • Ability to understand the business and build rapport with hiring managers • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively listen and communicate • Knowledge of social networking technology as a recruiting tool including LinkedIn • Experience with Applicant Tracking System is preferred • Employee training experience is preferred • PHR or SPHR Certification preferred • Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and team based project experience. • Strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and recruiting searches simultaneously and in a timely manner. • Ability to prioritize and organize assignments to meet deadlines with exceptional accountability and follow up.
