Correspondent Banking, Relationship Development Manager
Responsible for the development and maintenance of Correspondent Banking relationships achieving acquisition goals for Sigue and its affiliate companies. Staffs and directs a team towards the achievement of new banking relationships to support the company's North American agent network. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing new business relationships and effectively identifying and communicating within a designated geographic territory.
Ability to travel extensively (up to 60% of travel throughout the US).
5-7 years of experience in banking and/or sales management.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Marketing, or related field required.
Solid computer skills with ability to use MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
High degree of professionalism, with a confident assertive style.
Develops a business plan and banking strategy that ensures attainment of banking relationship goals.
Responsible for the performance and development of Banking Acquisition Team.
Prepares action plans for each individual to effectively search banking leads and prospects.
Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate banking targeted needs.
Assists in the development and implementation of banking communication and marketing plans as required.
Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
Maintains accurate records of all communication and activity reports submitted by Banking Acquisition Team.
Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
Assists Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Recruits, tests, and hires Banking Acquisition Team members based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
Coordinates lobbyist or regulatory meetings to promote MSB business understanding.
