Reporting to Western Hemisphere Cost Accounting Manager, this position will work in a team environment that supports supply chain facilities for various Baker Hughes Product Lines located in the Western Hemisphere.
Using standard Cost Accounting EFO process
Sets New Costs in SAP and performs midyear and ad hoc cost adjustments
Classify labor, material and overhead costs to compute unit cost of products
Performs Recosts Analysis
Calculates and Analyzes inventory impacts due to recosts
Perform variances determination on work orders monthly
May perform work order maintenance such as closing work order, canceling work orders, and determining if the correct profit center and cost center have been assigned and/or working with various groups for corrections required
Analyzes PPV and posts related journal entries
Uses SAP to calculate material burdens and posts related journal entries
Calculates and analyzes stock transport variances and post related journal entries
Performs month end processes..ie.GPI, recost amortization and stock transport variance entries.
Under general direction, conducts analysis related to supply chain projects.
Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in manufacturing including inventory, cost of products and other areas.
Direct the effective use of applications related to the accounting and financial systems.
Assist in standardizing financial processes and procedures across the western hemisphere manufacturing.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
Comprehensive knowledge of Cost Accounting/Finance principles and practices.
Ability to "get behind" the numbers and provide analysis that will enable the Manufacturing Management to make well-informed business decisions.
Service-oriented, responsive, collegial, and hardworking with a “get the job done” attitude.
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as SAP and other finance-related software.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting with 2+ years of experience or Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
