Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) is a national network of regional, destination hospitals specializing in complex and advanced-stage cancer

CTCA is building a new hospital in Newnan, Georgia that will be a 212,000-square-foot, all digital facility focused exclusively on treating cancer. It
will include 50 beds, ICU rooms, surgical suites, state-of-the-art radiation and infusion therapy departments, outpatient clinic rehabilitation and
physical therapy department and onsite residential accommodations for outpatients and their families. We are currently seeking dedicated Stakeholders
to help us fulfill our Mission and provide the Mother Standard of Carer to patients in the Southeast.


The primary function of the Cost Accountant is on-going decision support development and overall maintenance and integrity of the EPSi cost accounting
system. Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely cost accounting data at various levels of detail for completion of database updates. Provides
expertise in the interpretation of cost data to hospital decision-makers. Provides support to the pricing and charging processes and adhoc analysis.
Serves as a liaison to other hospital departments that are the source of data interfaced into EPSi. Provides cost accounting reports and analyses and
assists in understanding the reports and effectively utilizing them.


Develops and maintains the costing databases. Updates EPSi with the report data and statistics.

In collaboration with GL and CDM teams, ensures the system is updated with new cost centers, new expense/revenue accounts, new capital equipment,
new charge codes and reviews/updates definitions periodically.

Reviews departments' patient charges and identifies new job positions and expenses as fixed or variable along with other site cost accountants.
Matches capital equipment and job positions to patient charges.


Minimum of a BS/BA in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field

Two-three years of demonstrated knowledge and experience with cost accounting

2-3 years healthcare finance experience preferred

Must have a strong background in cost accounting and financial analysis. An advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel is necessary, familiarity
with health information systems and databases is preferable, and experience with cost accounting software is desirable. Familiarity with industry
terminology and concepts is required.
