Perform Cost Accounting function by monitoring the inventory management system used to value and control inventory. Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the company’s values of Customer Satisfaction, Innovation, Family, and Citizenship.
Essential Job Functions/Tasks:
Monitor salvaged scrap and prepare analysis on a weekly basis including measuring against expected scrap and expected salvage.
Assist in analyzing and reconciling inventory transaction variances on a monthly basis.
Prepare monthly reconciliation of inter-company transfers for all locations working with the shipping/receiving personnel to resolve issues. Prepare monthly freight and wire usage as needed to record expenses to the specific product lines for all locations.
Update and maintain Marketing Literature and Promotional inventory accounts.
Provide information for daily/weekly/monthly reporting requirements. Research and explain year over year actual vs. budget/forecast performance measurements for overall monthly reporting package. Schedule financial review meetings and present results.
Assist with establishing annual standard costs and rolling standards as needed.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Assist with preparation of various audit schedules as requested.
Coordinate cycle count process including prepare post cycle count transactions, research into variance causes and update shrink analysis workbook. Monitor inventory levels and research/identify causes for negative balances.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's) Preferred:
Experience with ERP software such as IQMS, JDE, MAS, Oracle, SAP. Experience with AS400 and queries,
Bilingual: Spanish preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of accounting experience with 1 year of cost accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to climb stairs to gain access to work area. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Intermittent walking and standing to use office equipment and access the factory area.
Finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer and to complete paperwork activities.
Vision sufficient to use the computer, to read written materials and to complete paperwork activities.
Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals in person and by telephone.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
