Develop standard costs for products utilizing company systems: FMS / DIS / Globe (SAP) following Nestle’ Costing Standards. Position provides a high level of customer service and analysis for Factory and Operations Management. This position supports the manufacturing operations, and requires a highly developed analytical skill set, the ability to analyze and reconcile data, and work with appropriate supervision for incumbents experience level in completing the required accounting functions. Incumbent also needs to possess a great deal of insight; to be able to connect facts, and occurrences that seem to have no connection, but may have significant meaning in identifying, analyzing, and assisting in reducing Factory / Operational variances.

Responsible for maintaining and updating Capital Budget information, tracking Capital, Maintenance and Engineering labor, spending and reporting on variances to budget. Also will assist in maintaining Bills of Materials, Standard overfill and waste, labor and production rate information for each product within the system.

Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports, tracking and investigation for Capital, Maintenance and Engineering labor, spending, operating overhead, and other production related variances

Work proactively with our Engineering, Maintenance and Quality Assurance groups in Cost Of Non-Quality tracking and reporting. Additionally, actively participate and support the plant’s continuous improvement efforts to further our War on Waste initiative.

Assist Cost Accounting Manager with various financial reports and analysis as requested.

Actively participate in the facilities safety efforts through safety meeting attendance, conducting departmental safety audits, or other participation as required.

Employee shall follow Franklin Park Factory safety & environmental objectives & targets, follow the plan safety rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution required.

Minimum of 3 – 4 years of previous accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing
environment required. Experience working with in a union environment a plus.

Must be detailed oriented person able to work efficiently and accurately, highly proficient in
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.

Previous experience in an SAP ERP system environment a plus.
