Inventory: Daily posting of transactions. Daily review of unposted transactions. Weekly reconciliation of perpetual listing to the general ledger. Monthly reconciliation and entries for slow moving and obsolete inventory. Review clearing accounts for balances weekly and take actions to clear any balances. Lower Cost of Market Reconciliation.
Bills of Material: Standard Cost maintenance. Review of Bills of Material for changes. Weekly cost roll ups and analysis of changes. Attend ECR meetings.
Weekly Reporting: PPV report. Material variance analysis. Scrap. Departmental spending.
Tooling receivable: Tracking of revenue and costs. Monthly gross margin report. Monthly reviews with Sales and Engineering. Reconciliation to the General Ledger.
Monthly reporting into Cognos.
Assist DSC in Ops review reports.
Analyzing and posting Pcard transactions weekly. Analyzing and reconciling monthly wireless phone bill.
Academic & Personal Qualification
- Bachelor degree required.
- 2 plus years experience in Cost Accounting in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid General Accounting experience.
- Strong Excel and overall computer skills.
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
