Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
The position requires ten equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to work closely with our Government client. Applicants must have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills and the capability to lead or principally contribute to some of the largest and most difficult studies that the Company undertakes. Experience with cost estimating methodologies, cost estimating relationships and model development, and cost databases including data collection, validation and normalization techniques, risk analysis, time-phasing, earned value management, business case analysis, net present value analysis, and cost benefit analysis is required.
Experience preparing cost estimates and budgets for major Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Department of Transportation (DOT) system acquisitions (preferably Federal Aviation Administration acquisition) programs, experience assessing cost and budget impacts of program alternatives as well as preparing and presenting applicable program documentation and briefings is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Crystal Ball is a plus. Software cost estimating or experience using a parametric model for Software (e.g. COCOMO, SEER-SEM, or PRICE-S) and ability to utilize function point analysis in estimating SLOC for system enhancements is highly desirable.
The ability to obtain and maintain the proper clearance is required.
The individual will perform a variety of cost and economic analysis. Work may include parametric cost estimating, cost and schedule estimating, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating relationship and model development, cost risk analysis, project forecasting and risk assessment, cost-benefit analysis, and software cost estimating.
