Counterintelligence Specialist, Quantico, VA CAD-2013-08
Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking counterintelligence (CI) specialists with experience supporting CI analysis, operations, and investigations. The Counter Intelligence Specialist will be assigned a broad area of responsibility and may delegate portions to lower level analysts. He/She will be responsible for: developing unique methodology as required and train others in its use; compiling data and preparation of inputs into larger reports. Will perform research, collection and collation of data from studies, assessments and projections as part of the analysis process. Will be responsible for: developing technical reports and briefings, project deliverables, monthly status reports and other finished products. Interfaces and collaborates with external entities, and uses computer tools to facilitate analysis tasks. May lead team performing entry-level research and analysis of intelligence and related data support of threat studies. May also be assigned to customer site and participate in meetings, prepare and present technical briefings to customer and upper management, and be required to train customer personnel in analysis methods and/or findings. Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum seven to nine years of experience with military or civilian CI organization or a Masters with five to seven years of experience.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Bachelor's degree
- Writing analytic documents with minimal need for editing
- Proficient in use of computer-spread sheets, databases and other related tools
- Knowledge of collection methods and production resources and responsibilities.
In one or more of the following areas:
- 7-9 years of experience with a military or civilian CI organization
- Analysts with IC experience in either production, requirements generation, data collection or analysis
- Analysts with Department of Defense experience in either production, requirements generation, data collection or analysis
- Analysts with State & local experience
- OMB program examiner experience
- Domestic and foreign disclosure officers
- Master's degree and 5-7 years of experience with a military or civilian CI organization
