DESCRIPTION

Assists in the operation of the Countroom and works closely with the Security Department regarding the drop box pull by performing the following duties either personally or through subordinate team members.

DUTIES

  • Responsible for the accuracy and security of the Drop Box count.
  • Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
  • Performs Cage Chip runs to Satellite, Pavilion, Gold Room and Pai Gow windows.
  • Ensures that the security of the Countroom is maintained at all times.
  • Performs shredding when assigned by a Cage Supervisor.
  • Collects racks for the count at the beginning of the shift or as needed.
  • Monitors equipment needs of the Countroom and recommends repair or replacement as necessary.
  • Ensures that work area is maintained in a safe work environment.
  • Must be available to work any shift including weekends, holidays, on call and overtime when needed.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Qualified individuals must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to stand, stoop, kneel and crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred and a minimum of one-year cash handling experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Banking or casino experience preferred but not required. Ability to use a 10-key adding machine.
