The staff member delivers and picks up supplies, records, specimens, and miscellaneous items relating to the businesses of Kishwaukee Health System and Kishwaukee Community Hospital. These services are provided within the service area of these entities with a Kishwaukee Community Hospital motor vehicle designed to provide such services. Also does vehicle maintenance and maintains vehicle records.
Education High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Proficiency of written, spoken, and reading of the English language.
Two years vehicular driving experience.
Basic computer skills for data entry and e-mail.
Ability to lift and move 50 pounds.
Ability to push, pull, and carry 50 pounds.
Ability to walk, stand, and sit for 2 hours continuous.
Ability to climb in & out of motor vehicles.
Ability to drive in light and darkness.
Ability to drive in weather conditions common to the upper half of Illinois. Ability to operate efficiently Departmental equipment. i.e. dolly, carts, palette jack. Etc.
Ability to work with routine & repetitive activities.
Ability to prioritize and organize daily tasks and routines.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED: A valid drivers license. The drivers license must be cleared by Kishwaukee Community Hospitals’ insurance carrier.
