This position is responsible for overseeing the quality scoring and reporting of online courses offered through Learning House. This person specifically will be responsible for training personnel on how to accurately score online courses; auditing course scoring to ensure consistency; providing feedback on course design work to improve quality; managing a schedule for reporting on the quality of online courses to partner institutions; and assisting with the daily oversight of course designers by answering questions related to course development and design.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Assist with the management of course designers by serving as primary coach on course design, course development, course scoring and course reporting
Assist with the quarterly review of course designers by providing feedback on quality of work as it relates to course design, development, scoring and reporting
Develop and implement a quality reporting schedule to ensure that all partner schools in specific performance categories receive comprehensive quality reports at least once per year.
Develop and implement a yearly review process to maintain quality scoring and reporting currency with both instructional and technical e-learning standards
Maintain internal documentation and training to ensure scoring and reporting consistency and accuracy.
Serve as liaison between inter-departmental teams and Curriculum to compile and report qualitative and quantitative student data and feedback
Required: Bachelor Degree in Instructional Design, Education, English, Communications or related field
Desired: Master Degree in Instructional Design, Education, English, Communications or related field
Required: One year in leadership position
Desired: Two years in leadership role
Ability to provide leadership and guidance to a young group of professionals
Ability to organize, track, and follow through on procedural details
Ability to work in a small growing company
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in critical analysis of written learning materials
Polished data collection and interpretation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong project management skills
Working knowledge of computers and the Internet
