Provides professional coordination of all activities related to defendants being placed on diversion or probation for an Olathe Municipal Court case.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interviews clients, conducts alcohol/drug evaluations and pre-sentence investigations, develops appropriate probation plans.
  • Closely monitors caseload of clients placed on diversion and probation, prepares recommendations for revocation and identifies appropriate sanctions, then audits files for compliance and completion.
  • Coordinates and monitors the supervision, compliance, and reporting provided by contracted monitoring agencies.
  • Serves as a liaison with the BSRB, professional agencies, and actively participates in professional organizations.

Experience & Education:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college and at least three years of increasingly responsible experience in criminal justice, social program administration or court-related administration are strongly preferred.

An Associate's degree with license and experience will be considered.

Prior alcohol and drug evaluation experience is required. Training and experience with the KCPC and client monitoring is preferred. Must possess a current BSRB certification as an LCAC or LAC.

Supplemental Information:

Must pass a criminal background check and qualify to serve as an agency REJIS terminal operator.

A valid driver's license is required.
