As the director of the Creative Services team, you are the creative visionary and strategic thinker to guide the execution of creative deliverables for a Fortune 14 company. As a partner to Corporate and Business Unit Marketing Managers, you and your team will bring to life the McKesson brand story of “Better Health” to our employees and customers.

You are part-time designer, writer/editor, web and video producer—but as a leader you can bring all the pieces together to make incredible things happen for your internal clients.
Accountable for the creative strategy for all McKesson corporate marketing programs, campaigns and support for select business units.
Lead a creative team of designers, writers, editors, multimedia, production, presentation designers, and external agencies to create brand-aligned, targeted deliverables that support the strategy (company, campaign, etc) and generate measurable results.
Lead brainstorming of creative ideas to find the best course of action to develop new creative communications, or advertise for current services.
Approve the final products/outputs from the entire creative services team
Develop/design creative and production processes to ensure maximum efficiencies within the team and to serve & support internal clients
Manage the creative services budget, including spending for internal staff, development, external agencies, capital equipment, etc.
Manage relationships with internal clients, including creative strategies for specific programs, services, departments, campaigns, etc.
With creative team members, develop strategy and for film/video production; provide on-site direction of employee and executive video shoots; manage and approve all post-production
Work with marketing managers to focus and translate internal client needs into effective and cost effective creative concepts spanning all media.
Ensure concepts and resulting deliverables for marketing programs deliver a consistent program experience across all media.
Ensure design/editorial team approach in developing fresh and compelling creative concepts that add to the McKesson employee or customer experience.
Champion of the brand proposition at every point of contact. Upholds quality and integrity of creative standards in partnership with Corp Marketing leadership.
Ensures that copy is benefit driven and portrays our voice throughout print and on-line media as well as all other communication channels.
Measures the impact of creative and interactive assets on marketing programs and evaluates their effectiveness for future campaigns.
Supervises the development of schedules and workflow. Develops budgets and manages teams to meet budget targets for all projects. Works to monitor workflow and allocate resources within department and project budgets.
10+ years of marketing communications experience including 7+ years managerial experience
Healthcare or agency experience is preferred
7+ years managing a creative staff
Solid understanding of all aspects of print and interactive design
Strong, flexible strategic thinker with vision
Excellent communication, relationship and presentation skills
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering on global brand, interactive, community or marketing campaign
High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel) and creative apps: Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Freehand, InDesign, Adobe CS
Experience with Marketing Central strongly preferred
Knowledge of Mac and PC platforms
Hands-on experience in development of visual identity systems and in generating winning creative solutions from concept through completion
Bachelor's Degree in Graphics Design, Communications, or other related field.
