The Creative Director at Three Ships Media will work to attract qualified traffic to our clients’ digital properties through content development and search engine optimization. Such content will include press releases, blogs, social posts, infographics, videos, and whitepapers. The Creative Director will also work closely with the Paid Media team to develop creative content for our clients’ online advertising strategies. They must be able to develop appropriate earned media strategies for each of our clients, achieve consistency and accuracy in reflecting each client’s voice and editorial style, and manage the department from conception to completion of a project with strong leadership skills.
Develop and deliver thought leadership, content strategy, and creative solutions that strengthen clients’ market distinction and drive their businesses forward.
Manage and motivate a talented group of writers, video producers, and creative talent to develop strong content and meet client needs.
Manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring client deliverables in a dynamic environment.
Maintain responsibility for final approval of all team deliverables for client; this requires strong vision for final product, editing skills, and superb attention to detail.
Ensure the timely development and execution of plans, campaigns, and projects.
Provide detailed information and cost estimates to assure accurate data with which to develop plans and budgets leading to stable and profitable accounts.
Work closely with Client Services and Paid Media to achieve coordination and alignment across all client offerings.
Participate in new business development efforts, as needed.
Promote a culture of learning, innovation, excellence and accountability.
4-8 years advertising agency experience, at least 2 years project management.
Demonstrated proficiency in copywriting, design and video editing.
Strong familiarity with search engine optimization techniques.
Proven management track record.
Experience working with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, and PowerPoint.
Experience working with HTML, PHP, CSS3, and HTML5 is a plus.
Familiarity with marketing concepts across various industries.
