Creative Services Director-121495
Provide strategic leadership and direction across the enterprise and with external partners and agencies relative to brand creative expression, visual identity system and visual standards in support of brand positioning. Provide direction for all creative work produced by the internal creative team. Direct and supervise Creative Services design and photography teams and oversee the use of enterprise marketing design and photography resources. Manage design processes and workflows to maximize quality and efficiency.
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree in graphic design or related creative field
Masters Degree in graphic design or related creative field
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Intermediate Demonstrated ability and willingness to work with a diverse range of client, including senior leadership in an organization
Advanced Strong critical thinking and visual acuity
Advanced Ability to guide, motivate and evaluate a creative team
Advanced Results oriented with demonstrated ability to successfully lead project form concept to completion
Advanced Strong creative management, administrative and organization skills, with experience in diplomacy and conflict resolution in the work environment.
Advanced Strong interpersonal skill, the ability to manage ambiguity and the ability to translate theory into practical application
Advanced Ability to think strategically
Advanced Exceptionally strong creative skills, including thorough understanding of visual design principles and strong visual acuity. Ability to translate these skills into engaging and clear materials and presentations.
Advanced Experience developing creative concepts and strategies for a variety of communication and marketing vehicles.
Minimum Experience Requirements
5 years Brand expression management
5 years Directing creative staff in design, photography, and video
10 or more years Experience developing a variety of successful creative assignments including advertising, video, direct mail, collateral systems, publications, corporate communications, environmental graphics
Other Experience in agency environment
Other Experience in corporate, non-profit or healthcare environment
Other Experience with integrated brand communications
Other Experience collaborating in a shared leadership environment
