Creative production: manage the process of producing materials for all design and marketing needs. Head up a team of project managers and production artists to support the brand experience functions of creative, PR and digital.
Manage global workflow: you are the first point of contact for all North American and international requests for new creative work and existing assets. Set up system to manage workflow, set priorities and deadlines across two brands in multiple countries competing in multiple product categories.
Build a team: recruit, resource and mentor an implementation team to meet the evolving needs of our business. Develop international resources that allow us to efficiently manage creative assets across multiple countries. A team of production artists and project managers with reporting to you.
Manage all print production (including packaging): partner with the Creative Director and NPD Project Managers to lead the process of producing all North American method and Ecover packaging artwork. Provide print production expertise in packaging executions (shrink, pressure sensitive labels, screen print, pouches) and set best practices for routing process, art work trafficking and file set up. Manage all North American prepress process and issues. Work closely with Creative Director to ensure seamless transition from creative concepts to final output.
Manage BE budget and status : including artwork, marketing expenditures, agency spend, and creative production cost.
Manage agency relationships: negotiate contracts and ensure seamless project management and communication on marketing campaigns and ongoing work. Drive schedules and set up a key team member for day-to-day agency management.
Define global asset sharing process: produce brand standards and style guides for all packaging and marketing systems to share with international markets. Liaise with international teams to ensure consistency and quality of method and Ecover packaging globally. Responsible for set up and management of global creative asset library. Experience with digital asset sharing tools a plus.

You must have deep experience executing product and marketing strategies across a broad set of mediums. You have extensive knowledge of print production and process and are abreast of innovative design trends and technologies. You can articulate strategy to agencies, manage all aspects of the agency/client relationship and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. Great leadership and collaboration skills will be essential to build out a talented implementation team to support marketing, creative, and international partners within our company. A love of soap or all things clean would be a nice touch.
QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCE
The right candidate will be able to juggle all aspects of print production, agency and project management and will be a master at solving problems and juggling schedules. With 10+ years of solid design, brand and marketing creative services experience (consumer packaged goods experience ideal) you can build and lead a team to deliver world class global packaging and marketing. Experience working on global brand roll-out a big plus.
