HID Global is looking for ambitious and driven college students to work in our Marketing Department as a Marketing Design Intern for Winter/Spring 2012. If you are motivated to gain “real world” experience in a fast-paced, in-house creative department, then we are looking for you. Reporting to the Creative Services Manager, this intern will work closely amidst the tight-knit Creative Services team. The candidate will work on a variety of marketing projects and must be able to work in a fast paced environment, doing production within established corporate branding guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Play a key role in supporting the Marketing Communications Department's campaigns and branding initiatives by doing production on brochures, print ads, datasheets, catalogs, tradeshow graphics, direct marketing pieces and other branding tools as necessary.
Digital enhancement of product photography
Must think dynamically and take pride in their skill and speed in meeting the immediate needs of the global MarComm Teams.
Frequency: A minimum of 2 days per week, for 8 hours/day in the office
Must receive school credit for internship
Present enrollment in design or art program
General working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat on Mac platform. PC knowledge a plus.
PowerPoint and Microsoft office applications skills a plus.
Excellent time management skills
Attention to detail, prompt, time sensitive delivery and the ability to multi-task on projects
Strong communication and conceptual skills; demonstrated ability to thrive in team environment. Flexible, positive, and big picture attitude.
Must be a self starter
Pre-press experience a plus
