The Creative Services Manager is responsible for a wide range of all visual design problems starting with web assets but also including print and digital marketing materials, user interfaces and video production. The goal of the Creative Services Manager is to maintain consistent visual design and messaging across all internal and external facing interfaces and publications, while improving the level of professionalism within the creative team. Our Creative Services Manager must be highly detail oriented with a high level of attention to marketing messages.
The Creative Services Manager must be able to quickly and efficiently develop presentation decks, storyboard videos for both in-product support and external communication, manage video production cycles, and still work with interface and user experience concerns within the software products. There should be a high level of data visualization and the ability to translate data into infographics, charts and comprehensive visual materials. The Creative Services Manager manages vendor relationships for print and production outsourcing. The Creative Services Manager works independently but is tightly integrated with all departments in the organization – product, technology, marketing and operations. The Creative Services Manager reports directly to the Director of Product.
Manage visual and information design of web properties, insuring accurate and consistent messaging appropriate to the site.
Create and manage visual design and messaging of all print collateral including media kits, signage, and advertisements.
Create and manage production of marketing materials for events, including internal and external promotional, trade shows and other events.
Create and manage sales and business development slide decks including media and pitch kits.
Assist training staff on use of web-based slide system.
Create print version of training materials.
Collaborate with tech on implementation of SEO points.
Manage messaging and consistency of social media content across multiple social networks, blogs and video networks.
Script, storyboard, and manage creation of all tutorial, product, marketing and feature display videos.
Assist in managing press pieces.
Script blog posts, marketing materials, emails, direct marketing and CMS messaging.
Manage and insure the adMarketplace brand.
4 years of high level web and print design experience, preferably with at least 2 years as a Senior Web Designer or Creative Services Manager directly working with visual designers and other creative talent
Competent in the critiquing of creative concepts and copy and is able to provide clear creative direction that inspires and motivates the creative team
Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with a proven capacity to prioritize and perform time-sensitive tasks
Possesses superior problem-solving, collaborative, and decision-making skills
Ability to work both independently as well as within the team
Outstanding interpersonal and group communication skills
Strong understanding of interaction design, typography, and color theory in creating motivating online communications
Excellent communicator who can effectively share creative insights across all the company's teams while reporting regularly to executive and senior management
Understanding of marketing and public relations with experience managing campaigns, media kit development and other marketing matters
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience)
Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Screenflow, Slide Rocket, Axure RP, HTML/CSS experience
It Would Also Be Great If You Have
Solid background with the web and web technologies including a basic understanding of the technical systems and architecture which underlie dynamic websites
Must be extremely detail-oriented, and be able to think strategically about both short and long-term solutions
Prefer candidates with experience in AdTech or data-driven technology companies
Coding skill preferred but secondary to design expertise
Portfolio presentation is expected, include URLs of websites or samples of user interface design that reflect candidate’s work as well as documentation that led to the site, including wireframes, site maps, navigation flows, interaction design specs, etc.
