Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, corresponding with health plan representatives and office managers to review applications and/or attachments and act on missing or expired information, update and maintain files to ensure demographic and license data is accurate, and update enrollment tasks and credentialing status in the integrated billing system.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an office environment, using Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with credentialing requirements for health plans.
Previous Knowledge of physician's important documents such as medical license, DEA and diplomas/certifications.
Excellent attention to detail with strog organizational, planning skills and ability to multi-task.
Experience communicating logically and clearly both orally and in writing.
Experience working with tight timelines and challenging customers.
Experience with AthenaHealth or other integrated medical billing system.
