Responsible for providing office services to the manager. Assist in completing necessary paperwork for special projects. Assist the Contract Administrator with maintaining credentialing grids for all NSU clinical services providers and specialty licenses. Coordinate the compilation of and assist in the creation, preparation, reproduction and distribution of contracting and credentialing materials.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Assist in the completion of credentialing and re-credentialing materials including Medicare, Medicaid and Hospital Reappointment applications. 2. Process credentialing information in contract/credentialing software. 3. Contact Medical staff for required documentation (signatures, credentials etc.). 4. Attends meetings as assigned and reports on actions. 5. Maintains strictest confidentiality. 6. Provides secretarial support including typing, composing and proofreading. 7. Answers telephone, screens calls, refers callers/visitors to appropriate individuals. 8. Process incoming and outgoing mail. Opens, sorts, prioritizes and distributes correspondence. 9. Compiles information and types reports from data and existing records. 10. Prepares charts and time tables. Assists with the preparation of materials, agendas, notes and handouts. 11. Assists other staff as needed. 12. Orders office supplies.

Team player, ability to maintain composure in a busy environment. 4. Must possess excellent interpersonal and organization skills. 5. Flexible schedule with some evening and Saturday hours. 6. Familiarity with wide range of software including, but not limited to, Word Perfect, Word and Microsoft Excel. 7. Legible Handwriting.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Major (if required):
1. Three years experience in health care related field as to insurance issues, credentialing and or contracting of doctors or provider relations department. 2. Two to three years of experience performing a variety of administrative/secretarial duties.
