Qualifications:
POSITION IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN PARK RIDGE, IL and will be relocating to DOWNERS GROVE in May 2013

PC Skills (word processing, data entry, email, etc.)Scanning equipment, FAX, copier, completing work in a paperless enviroment, etc.. Associate Degree or equivalent in business or health related field.4-5 years experience as administrative or executive assistant, report writing, preferably in a health care environment Eligible to sit for CPCS certification within 3 years.

Job Description:
Provides essential verification and quality control functions to support Advocate's goals for credentialing health care providers while ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory and delegated requirements.
Accountabilities:
1. Ensures credentialing and recredentialing is performed in keeping with regulatory requirements.
2.Ensures that credentialing database is maintained.
3. Provides administrative support to the Director, Manager and Supervisor in carrying out departmental activities.
4. Maintains personal adherence to professional confidentiality standards established within the department and in accordance with legal, ethical and health system policies.
5. Knowledge and experience in medical staff credentialing, managed care NCQA, TJC, AAAHC and DNV.
