Set the standard and continuously develop people, and projects in the day-to-day execution in delivering the goals of the Finance Department in relation to the timely collection of all outstanding balances and credit status while providing excellent customer service for specific regions.
Champion processes and programs as directed by the CFO that drive value. Supervise and monitor core performance of the Credit & Collections department through productivity, cost, and administrative accuracy, and service. Ensure departmental metrics and goals are delivered. Lead, coach, and support subordinates. Support the analytics within the departmental business practices for continuous improvement, global compliance. Support the credit & collections activities for acquisitions as required.
In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:
Supervise a team of credit and collections representatives
Reporting performance metrics to CFO
Identifying issues and assisting with resolution
Responsible for timely collection of all outstanding balances with customers.
Processes invoices for orders.
Call customers for notification of amount due or offers assistance to expedite prompt payment.
Research any billing discrepancies by interacting with appropriate departments to resolving invoice errors, mis-shipped orders or proof of deliveries.
Issue credit or rebills for differences or returned material.
Investigates credit applications for opening new accounts.
Decides account status or credit lines for customers and shares information with Sales.
Records all interactions with customers on computer file.
Controls petty cash and bank reconciliations.
Abides by Ryan Herco standards for credit and collections.
Maintains good customer relations and professionalism at all times.
Updates mailing list on an on-going basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirments :
Education/Experience: College Course work or equivalent, or 5+ years exp as a collector supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge: Microsoft Office suite, Mincron, D&B Credit Rating reports
Skills : Oral/Written Communication. Good math aptitude
