The Credit Analyst will be responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements of customers and dealers to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
Generate financial ratios by using computer programs to evaluate customers' financial status.
Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions.
Prepare reports with credit information for use in decision making.
Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with those of similar establishments in the same industries and geographic locations.
Confer with credit associations and other business representatives to exchange credit information.
Analyze financial data such as income growth, quality of management, and market share to determine expected profitability of loans.
Evaluate customer records and recommend payment plans based on earnings, savings data, payment history, and purchase activity.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
2+ years of credit review/analysis experience in the non-prime auto industry.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful and sensitive manner.
Strong communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Associate Degree or equivalent work experience.
