Job Description:
The Credit Analyst will analyze credit data to estimate
degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending
money to customers (firms or individuals).

Key responsibilities of this job include:
  • Contacts banks, trade and credit associations,
salespeople, and others to obtain credit
information.
  • Studies economic trends in firm's industry or branch
of industry to predict probable success of new
customer.
  • Visits establishments to determine condition of
plant and equipment and compare methods of operation
with accepted practices in industry
  • Evaluates results of investigations, prepares
reports of findings, and suggests credit limitations
to management.
  • Maintains database of customer credit histories
  • Consults with management to assist in corporate
planning
  • Bachelors Degree Required - BS/BA in Finance,
Accounting or Business
  • Two years of work experience in analytically and/or
research intense roles, preferably in credit related
areas
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and keen attention
to detail
  • Ability to calculate financial ratios is required
  • Very strong computer/software skills (Word, Excel,
Outlook)
  • Very strong English communication skills (oral and
written)
  • Solid business judgment including a good grasp of
financial account analysis
  • A team player, with good interpersonal skills and at
ease working in multi-cultural environments
  • Customer service orientation
  • Great attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Resourceful and able to multi-task with ease
  • Professional presence
