Reporting to the Manager of Credit, the Credit Coordinator is responsible for conducting credit investigations within defined polices and procedures. This position is also responsible for credit and risk analysis of existing and potential customers, recommending appropriate lines of credit, collection and reconciliation of accounts. This position has no direct reports.
We are seeking a candidate with accuracy in posting accounts, thoroughness in making credit checks, and ability to work independently with minimal direction. The successful candidate will have analytical skills in assessing appropriate lines of credit based on information provided, as well as ability to communicate effectively across functions and generate desired results.
- Associates degree in accounting, or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years experience in credit & collections in a manufacturing environment, additional experience in general ledger accounting would be a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- PC literate, financial systems literate
