presentations reflecting the bank''s credit quality
and loan portfolios. Develops computer based
system reporting methods to produce management
reports, such as asset quality, non-performing
assets, key indicators of loan quality specific
reserves, and charge-offs. Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of lending, credit review and approval,
and credit analysis usually acquired through formal
education and previous experience is required to
prepare reports on credit quality and loan portfolios.
Analytical and organizational skills are required
to analyze data and prepare reports. Ability to
use various personal computer software packages
is necessary to manipulate the databases and
prepare reports. Major Duties 1. Compiles information on database systems
to develop reports and presentations reflecting
the bank''s credit quality and loan portfolio.
2. Prepares management reports, such as asset
quality, non-performing assets, key indicators of
loan quality, specific reserves, charge-offs,
participations bought and sold, etc.
3. Works with senior management to prepare
the non-performing asset/chargeoff and recovery
projection model.
4. Performs administrative functions related to the
loan/credit review and approval process.
5. Provides regulatory agency reports such as
non-performing loans, risk elements, and loan
concentration disclosure.
6. Develops systems and procedures to meet
the reporting needs of the credit reporting group.
7. Analyzes systems data, researches information,
and develops reports in response to management
and/or regulatory agency requests.
8. Prepares reports such as, trends in non-performing
loans, collateral exposure, etc. for loan committee
review.
9. Interacts with lending officers, systems staff, and
legal on a regular basis.
10. Conducts analytical research to support
management as required. Experience 3-5 years of banking systems, and/or credit
analysis experience.
