Credit Suisse's Real Estate & Asset Finance (REAF) team within Credit Risk Management (CRM) is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst in the New York office. CRM's REAF team is responsible for the credit assessment, approval, rating, reporting and risk management of secured credit facilities for residential mortgage loan originators and services, asset finance receivable originators and services, and corporate credits such as equity and mortgage REITs. Responsibilities include:
Conducting and documenting credit analysis and annual reviews of counterparties and credit facilities;
Monitoring collateral performance and loan covenants, and reporting on risk concentrations, portfolio quality and compliance with internal risk limits;
Communicating the results of analysis performed in written reports;
Supporting ongoing CRM projects, related to the Bank's credit risk appetite framework, legal-entity risk initiatives, portfolio risk monitoring, exposure calculation methodology and wrong-way risk analysis, and regulatory compliance;
Supporting the development of rating models for Commercial Real Estate and Asset Finance;
Addressing ad-hoc requests, and following-up on risk excesses and other credit requests.
You Offer...

Relevant university degree (BA/BS minimum;
5 to 7 years related business experience;
3-5 years of experience with Structured Products, Real Estate and/or Risk Management;
Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint;
Strong communication skills.

Experience at a major investment or global commercial bank;
ABS/ RMBS/CMBS market knowledge.

Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:
Strong analytical skills;
Strong problem solving skills;
Strong time management skills;
Strong writing skills.
