INVISTA is currently seeking a highly motivated Credit Risk Analyst to join our Risk Management team located in Wichita, KS.

Responsibilities:
Complete customer credit analyses and reviews for the purpose of determining credit limits and terms for new and existing customers. Such analyses will include:

Conducting thorough research of the counter party, including: financial statement analysis; contacting trade & bank references; and, utilizing third party credit reporting information. Working with businesses (salespersons, CSR, analysts, etc.) to understand deal economics, mechanics, and incentives for INVISTA and the customer.

Provide input and recommendations for business risk decisions and challenge thinking as appropriate, while also maintaining the right team environment (credit/sales/accounting/customer) when dealing with difficult credit decisions.

Developing models and preparing reports, where necessary, to help develop points of view and different case sensitivities.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial health of assigned customer base.

Assist in establishing an ongoing review cycle for each customer account that is prudent given the risks and issues identified during the most recent credit review.

Understand, apply, and monitor compliance with established credit standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Develop a strong knowledge of credit risk principles and tools to effectively analyze credit risk.

Understand the different credit mitigation alternatives and the risks/benefits of each.

Develop a proficiency in credit control and management capabilities of SAP accounting system.

Assistance to international regions in credit analysis, credit policy, training and reporting.

Maintain access list and provide initial training for the GDW administration screens and the AR data cube, as approved by the global risk systems leader.

Run and maintain the integrity of periodic risk management reports, including the KII Credit Agg, Bad Debt Reserve and the Global Aging, and work with the global risk systems team to properly maintain the GDW infrastructure for these reports.

Coordinate the monthly Past Due and Watch List explanation process to ensure information is available and accurate prior to the running of the global aging and bad debt reserve reports.

Work closely with the global risk systems team to maintain priority of GDW and AR data cube ticket process.

Required Experience & Education

1+ years experience in credit or other risk management role or experience in financial statement analysis/evaluation

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Economics or Accounting from an accredited college or university

Advanced level knowledge of Excel

Experience developing and defending a point of view

Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills with an ability to find and recommend solutions

Preferred Experience & Education

MBA degree from an accredited college or university

Knowledge of SAP and Access
