The Crew Training Data Entry Clerk is responsible for the entry and upkeep of Crew Records, licenses and certificates. The Crew Training Data Entry Clerk will work closely with the Manager and Director of Training as well as the Crew Training Coordinators to ensure that all records are entered as quickly and efficiently into the company’s electronic software (BlueOne) as well as the individual crewmember’s hard copy records at the same time maintaining a level of quality control regarding correctness and meeting FAA requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for record keeping. This includes building and maintaining all paper and electronic records, received via email and fax. All records are reviewed by the Data Entry Clerk and entered into the company’s electronic software (BlueOne) as well as the individual crewmembers’ hard copy records.
  • Responsible for reviewing Training Faxes and CrewTraining Email Inbox. As part of daily duties will review all incoming training faxes emails and enter into BlueOne and hard copy records.
  • Must be able to work as part of the training department team and able to maintain a good rapport with the crewmembers through email and phone calls.
  • Responsible for reviewing all Licenses and Certificates. Besides training records the crewmembers licenses, ratings, medicals, passports and visas must be kept up to date and copies kept electronically and in hard copy and entered into BlueOne.
  • Responsible to enter records into Trend Analysis tracking sheet.
  • Responsible to assist in the records audit process and ensure record accuracy and compliance with company and FAR requirements.
Requirements / Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience with a Part 121 Air Carrier Training Records Program preferred.
  • High School degree required Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Must possess sound judgment and discretion as well as maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must be computer savvy and able to quickly learn the company’s electronic scheduling and record keeping software, BlueOne.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and follow through.
  • Must have experience in meeting deadlines on tight timeframes as well as have the ability to work overtime on short notice.
