DESCRIPTION

Experienced position with the Technical Support Team. Support the Sales Engineers with plan-and-spec estimating and project management expertise. Position consists of take-offs of HVAC equipment and estimating control bids, order write-ups, submittal preparation, order-entry and project management.

On jobs management has determined execution is critical, this project manager will take an active role in job site responsibilities. They will attend job site meetings when required, handle problems and issues related to equipment purchased by the client.

DUTIES

  • Provide equipment and controls estimates as required.
  • Configure, select and price HVAC equipment including interface with BASD.
  • Generate proposals.
  • Generate submittals.
  • Project-manage sold projects to successful and timely turnover to Sales Admins.
  • Provide technical support.
  • Prioritizes workload and request to ensure customer and employee satisfaction are delivered.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public.
  • Prepares reports and correspondence and maintains files.
  • Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities.
  • Visit job sites and attend job site meetings as required.
  • Other duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's Degree in electronic or mechanical systems or equivalent experience in the HVAC industry required. Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline strongly preferred. Knowledge of HVAC equipment and controls a plus. Must have 5+ years of relevant experience. -Provide equipment and controls estimates as required.
