Job Description:
Secure Mission Solutions, LLC has an immediate need for
a Help Desk Analyst or System Administrator to act as a

Cross Domain Support Analyst. The Support Analyst will:
  • Assist customers with the Cross Domain Services (CDS)
ticketing process.
  • Assist in the development, documentatin and execution
of technical test cases for technologies under
evaluation. Following the execution of tests, the
analyst will document and report the results of these
  • Assist customers and community counterparts with the
CDS ticket request process. Provide the CDS ticket
request templates and provide instructions on how to
request a CDS for use.
  • In support of CDS ticket requests, review CDS system
documentation to assess the technical maturity and need
of the proposed CDS requirement. Provide well focused
and technically accurate feedback to customers.
  • Develop, deliver and brief CDS certification test
reports to NSA and the authority approval boards. Citing
the comprehensive test results and evaluation of the
technical and non-technical security safeguards
determined in the proposed CDS following the Risk
Decision Authority Criteria (RDAC) set forth by NSA.
  • Develop, deliver and brief the CDS accreditation
briefing to NSA and the authority approval boards, as
directed. This briefing is formal evidence that the
security implemented is at an acceptable level of risk,
based on the implementation of an approved set of
technical, managerial and procedural safeguards.
  • Provide administrative support to develop, compile,
edit and submit reports using standardize templates,
Information Assurance (IA) technical results and test
  • Provide administrative support to Cross Domain System
(CDS) subject matter experts.
  • Provide response to information requests timely with
well-focused and technically accurate responses.

Job Requirements:Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of DoD and NIST IA policies and risk
assessment methodology
  • Must be able to communicate technical terms
effectively in front of an audience and interpret
regulatory guidance
  • Experience in writing or executing test cases
  • Experience in reviewing/editing/writing technical
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
required. Must be comfortable presenting technical
information to a group.
  • Strong knowledge of network devices and
interconnection (i.e. routers, switches, IDS/IPS,
firewalls and DNS).
  • Experience configuring or testing computer systems
according to DISA Security Technical Implementation
Guides (STIGs) or similar configuration guidance
  • Familiarity with current DoD (DIACAP) certification
and accreditation process preferred
  • Two to three years’ Help Desk or Systems
Administration experience may take the place of some
other requirements

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information
Assurance or related field preferred
Security+ Certification
