This position has dual reporting, the Curriculum Manager in matters related to policy and procedure in the Office of Academic Services and to course directors in matters related to the coordination of curricular activities in specific areas of responsibility.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
Interact professionally with health-care practitioners, faculty, public and students to create a favorable impression of NEOMED .
Maintain and secure confidential records and materials in student files with the office of Academic Services.
Assists in course implementation including the development and production of course schedules, modes of instruction, educational materials, instructional media material, small group formations, evaluation processes and other related curricular activities.
Using E*Value as required by a course.
Assists with implementation of course approvals/modifications and related course budgets.
Coordinates all logistics related to guest presenters and clinical faculty for assigned courses.
Coordinates and maintains curricular content within AIMS for assigned courses including the electronic student schedule.
Prepares exams and quizzes for assigned courses using LXR and maintains the question database.
Assists when required the Manager of Assessment with projects
Key Skills and Personal Characteristics
Education/Degrees: Bachelor’s degree in education, allied health, or related field preferred, or the equivalent in education and experience.
Experience: Two to four years experience in higher education or health-related field.
Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to set clear objectives.
Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office.
Ability to quickly learn complex software applications, knowledge of LXR , Academic Integrated Management System ( AIMS )is a plus.
