What Facilities Management/Mainten contributes to Cardinal Health

Facilities Management/Maintenance is responsible for supporting the physical structure of a company facility.

Performs general physical labor with supervision
Works toward necessary certifications and licenses
Comprehends and applies maintenance and safety procedures

Manages day-to-day operational processes; develops and implements procedures in response to changing business needs and program design.
Evaluates alternative solutions/decisions in light of the potential impact on the internal/external customer and Cardinal Health; understands the resource implications of solutions and makes recommendations in adherence to governance and prioritization guidelines. Accountabilities in this role

Collect and dispose of non-recyclable materials

Sort and properly dispose of recyclable materials

Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas of the facility

Transport bales to the storage area

Perform assigned 5S tasks

Assist in the maintenance of PIT batteries

Assist Maintenance Technician with tasks requiring two or more people

Assemble or dismantle inventory shelving and racking

Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks on assigned equipment

Operate PIT's

Other tasks as required.


High school degree or equivalent experience
Related experience preferred
Certified Forklift operator, or be willing to train for certification
Be able to lift 50 lbs.
Good Math Skills preferred
