Follow established cleaning schedule for 35,000 square ft. office building
  • Order cleaning supplies through the Purchasing Manager
  • Accept deliveries and distribute throughout office
  • Assist with moving file boxes, shredding, etc.
  • Vacuum and dust offices, cubicles, hallways, kitchen, copying and filing areas, as well as storage areas
  • Maintain training room and conference rooms clearing debris, vacuuming, dusting, arranging furniture, etc., especially after meetings
  • Remove trash from entire building two times daily (all removed totally from building at the end of each workday)
  • Remove recycle products as necessary (at least weekly)
  • Maintain sanitary kitchen and restroom areas
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, wax and buff floors
  • Clean carpets according to developed schedule
  • Clean windows inside and outside
  • Stock beverage refrigerators, kitchen cabinets, and all paper towel & bathroom tissue dispensers
  • Perform light grounds keeping and maintenance duties, including snow removal during normal business hours
  • Working hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - 5 days per week
  • Handle multiple responsibilities
  • Required Skills Ability to work independently and with little or no supervision.

    Communication Skills: Communicates, plans, troubleshoots problems, and informs supervisor.
    Tool, Machine, Equipment Operation: Requires use of cleaning equipment (buffer, auto scrubber, carpet cleaner, etc.), and a wide variety of hand and power tools.

    Required Experience Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
    Experience: Six months related experience in custodial work.
    Knowledge of: Proper use and safety of cleaning supplies and tools and cleaning techniques
