Responsibilities:
  • Increase customers' awareness and understanding of Rally's products in order to drive cross-selling, up-selling and renewal opportunities.
  • Execute on all phases of subscription renewal lifecycle including up-front communication, preparation of renewal options, revisions to terms and conditions, obtaining contract signatures and filing appropriate paperwork.
  • Manage a portfolio of client renewals, contacting customers in advance of subscription expiration to ensure customer retention and increasing renewal rate.
  • Improve Rally's understanding of why customers do or do not renew and help to drive improvements in sales tactics and strategies.
  • Work with cross-functional departments on the creation and implementation of renewal-related processes and techniques.
  • Contribute to the territory's attainment of quarterly revenue objectives.
  • Data management, including tracking of the current sales forecast, proposals/quotes outstanding, orders received, renewal rates, and additional relevant data.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • 2-5 years telesales experience including a mix of Renewals, Account Management, and/or Inside Sales; strong preference for prior Renewals experience
  • Prior experience selling software and SaaS-based solutions highly desirable.
  • A strong desire to build and advance a career in technology sales.
