About the Customer Business Planning and Space Management Manager
This is a high impact and high profile position that will utilize creativity, analytical prowess, process discipline and influential management skills to deliver innovative space management solutions and customer business plans. This position will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of our customer business planning cycle. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our customer teams, top level management and key stakeholders across the organization to ensure that our customer business plans deliver against both internal and external objectives. You will utilize your innovative skills to inject leading edge concepts into the planning cycle (i.e. shopper marketing, multi-channel promotions, trade spend optimization) so we can maintain our competitive edge in the market place. Additionally, this position is responsible for the development our Space Management competencies and tools within the UCM market place. You will utilize your networking skills and work closely with your Global colleagues to establish merchandising guidelines based on shopper marketing and path to purchase research. These merchandising principles come to life in the form of homesite and off-shelf planograms. This role is also responsible for the continued develop of the space and distribution tool set that provides both operational and analytical support to teams.
Bachelor's degree, along with 3-5 years related experience in consumer packaged goods. 2 years+ selling experience is a plus. Demonstrates key core competencies as viewed by Sales Leadership team, including leadership, strategic orientation, collaboration, decision making, strong communication skills, team orientation, and integrity. Must also be self-motivated with strong planning, organizational, execution and influential management skills. An ability to work across functions and varying management levels is a critical skill for this role. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
