In support of these commitments, we seek an experienced Customer Care Representative for our inside sales team that currently resides in Roselle, but will move to St. Charles, IL in the Spring of 2014.
The primary focus of the job is to provide sales, customer service and administrative support for all divisions of Clarke. Answers telephone and email requests, enters and edits customer orders, processes adds/changes/deletes to orders, and responds to customer service and Sales Representative requests. This is a cross-trained role within two customer service queues. While working within the framework of Clarke’s mission/vision/values held accountable for providing high levels of customer service. Achieve department, and organizational goals.

Required Experience:
Customer Care
Takes customer calls and provides general information regarding product pricing, availability (including “licensed for use” information), sales process and order details.
Generates customer order and performs order entry in a timely and accurate manner.
Verifies that product may be sold in geographic area or that customer is licensed to use product.
Troubleshoots customer issues and ensures first call resolution.
Generates sales lead and refers calls to appropriate Sales Representative as necessary.
Contacts customers or performs appropriate research to correct inaccurate or missing order information.
Follows up with Operations and Warehouse personnel as necessary to verify completion of order or to resolve issues.
Interacts with Sales Representative(s) as necessary to ensure that customer expectations are fulfilled.
Creates tickets, follows up and closes all customer complaints/inquires in a timely manner.
Familiarize self with, and maintains appropriate knowledge and awareness of, products, equipment and services available.
Updates CRM system with customer data and supports Sales Representatives to close out opportunities.
Contacts customers as directed to conduct market research, promote special offers or other marketing campaigns.
Administrative Duties
Prepares or assists in the preparation of sales quotes, proposals, contracts, bids, etc.
Provides administrative support to Sales Representative when needed.
Proofreads documents, records and forms to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
Maintains contracts and customer information in several database systems.
Collates and prepares marketing materials, brochures and performs direct mailing activities.
Completes paperwork and other documentation as necessary and in accordance with department procedures.
Acts as back-up to other departmental personnel as necessary.
Performs Receptionist duties as requested or as scheduled to fill-in during breaks and lunch period.
Performs filing activities.
Performs miscellaneous duties as requested.

Qualifications :
High school degree or equivalent education.
3 – 5 years prior experience in customer service or sales support/administrative position.
