The Customer Communications Developer will be responsible for creating tools and reports that help our customer service representatives interface with customers via email and phone contacts. The developer would be responsible for maintaining our existing case management system as well as growing new features and functionality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop tools for our customer service department
  • Maintain existing tools and infrastructure
  • Analyze customer needs to determine technical requirements
  • Develop new tools and reports for data analysis, trend tracking, and APIs; primarily in Perl
  • Work closely with QA to debug complex problems in our system and quickly resolve them
  • Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 1+ years programming in Perl, mod_perl, Object-oriented Perl
  • 1+ years’ experience with MySQL or similar database system
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, & UNIX including Apache web server
  • Experience in HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery
  • Able to work effectively and independently on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Able to work both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced and exciting environment
  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders and departments
  • Extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, disciplined, organized, self-sufficient, proactive, and take ownership of work assigned
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Can communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
  • Able to perform/learn new tasks outside the candidate’s immediate range of skills
  • High degree of honesty and integrity
  • Deadline oriented and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-player, positive attitude and flexible
  • Comfortable with adult content
  • Must be at least 21 years old
