The Customer Engagement Specialist is a member of the Customer Engagement team in Marketing responsible for supporting internal and external customers through tactical support of strategic initiatives and program ideation; responsible for planning, executing, and measuring programs and tactics around relationship building with external customers; responsible for all aspects of project management from crafting well-written briefs to tracking expense. Reports to Manager, Customer Engagement. No Direct Reports. Must possess the ability to:
Manage support and lead ideation around Premier differentiation program including communication of benefits, recognition of top store customers, and Premier exclusive events
Participate in Rewards Governance Committee meetings and execute administrative tasks including documentation of abuse internally and notification of abuse to external customer
Present information clearly, concisely, and accurately to marketing leadership and engage with DSW’s senior leadership team as needed
Manage and track accurate expense projections and updates
Act as Project Manager for institutional marketing including philanthropic marketing. Responsibilities include: providing clear and achievable objectives, guiding project operations from start to finish, keeping projects on schedule and on budget, collecting feedback and input from stakeholders, working closely with the internal creative team to ensure objectives are met
Act as a face of marketing when collaborating with the field team, Human Resources, Store Operations, event planning companies, and external customers
Some store travel required, serving as a marketing representative interacting with District Managers, Store Managers, and customers (20%)
2+ years corporate experience
Agency or corporate retail experience preferred. Experience with Aprimo Marketing Studio a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Must meet deadlines, be organized, and demonstrate follow-through while responding quickly and effectively to a variety of changes and opportunities that impact the business

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or social sciences.
