The Role:
As a Business Analyst you’ll apply thought leadership, analytical skills, business judgment, project management and reporting expertise to translate the customer operation’s strategy into specific insights, key performance indicators, and measurable milestones against plan. In this role you will develop and maintain models to assess customer insights across a variety of data sources as well as leveraging your development knowledge to assist in refining internal tools such as Salesforce to optimize the experience for customers and internal teammates.

A successful candidate is able to work independently and collaboratively develop models that support operational and strategic decision making, and develop, implement, and track customer and operational performance metrics. They are highly analytical, entrepreneurial, and pragmatic, comfortable interacting across all disciplines of the company, capable and credible at engaging the SurveyMonkey team, and effective at setting and managing expectations of management.

Responsibilities:
Track and analyze key customer operation’s metrics

Become the SurveyMonkey SME on our Salesforce CRM platform, owning metrics and customizations

Shape the information for and deliver insights to audiences ranging from customer operations teammates to the SurveyMonkey leadership team

Manage priorities and expectations across multiple projects and stakeholders

Proactively identify problems, locate the correlated data set, and perform detailed analysis geared to solve ongoing operational issues

Adapt to new projects, problems, and priorities

Build, maintain and report against the customer operations database

Qualifications:
Strong academic background; Bachelor’s Degree preferably in an analytical field

Outstanding quantitative and critical thinking abilities

Highly proactive with strong ability to work with minimal guidance and direction

Excellent presentation, communication (verbal, written and interpersonal) and multi-tasking skills

Analytics expert with experience in data access (DB design, SQL, etc) and statistical manipulation (R, SPSS, Python, PSPP etc.)

Development skills in HTML, JavaScript and Apex preferred

2-3 years of development, reporting and/or analysis work

Interest or experience in Internet/Technology sector

Entrepreneurial team player, and a sense of humor
