The Customer Service & Vendor Relations Supervisor (Supervisor) is responsible for the effective management of multiple vendor relationships and activities related to the following: contracting; setting up and revising parameters for file placements and returned files; reconciling placement and inventory files; reviewing invoice for accuracy; and auditing accounts. Ensuring that operational vendor management issues are identified and resolved timely is an absolutely crucial responsibility of this position. The Supervisor will effectively manage customer service representatives to ensure quality service is consistently provided to patients, employees, and internal customers. Also, the Supervisor is responsible for identifying the root cause of customer complaints and working with the appropriate departments and/or vendors to resolve these issues.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related discipline is required.
Three years relevant experience in Hospital Patient Accounts or Patient Access required.
Strong knowledge of customer service and healthcare management in a hospital or multi-facility setting required.
Three years supervisory experience in a Patient Accounts setting required.
CPAR certification preferred.
Personal Computer, phone, adding machine, fax, copier and printer experience required.
Basic knowledge of standard Microsoft Office software including document, spreadsheet and database applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills.
